Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette

Yes I know this was a long time coming but I mean uni and a social life doesn't really mix well. But I need to get my shit together so welcome to the first Makeup Monday by me... your reliable source of makeup gossip ;)


So today I want to enlighten you about my beloved Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette. I received this palette as a birthday present from one of my best friends (cos your girl just reached 19!!!). Seriously this palette is amazing for any makeup lovers because the colours and pigmentation are beautiful! 

Personally, I think that this is a must in your makeup collection because it has perfect matte and shimmery shades as well as beautiful transition colours. This palette is great for any looks from daytime casual looks to night time party looks. The Zoeva palette retails for £18.00 from the website beautybay.com. 

From left to right:

Bitter Start, Sweeter End, Warm Notes, 

Subtle Blend, Beans Are White,

 Pure Ganache, Substitute For Love, 

Freshly Toasted, Infusion, Delicate Acidity. 

The swatches shown on the picture was done with one swipe. If you use a primer beforehand the colours will definitely pop and be even more brighter.

Here is the cocoa blend palette in action. For this look I used 'bitter start' all over the lids to give a nice base and for the colours to pop. I then used a blending brush to blend 'Substitute for Love' into the crease as a transition shade. I used 'Freshly toasted' on the outer corners, blending it into the crease. I then used my finger to tap the colour 'Warm Notes' onto the lid. Again using the transition shade blending the two colours in. Lastly I used 'Beans are White' just on the outer corners and blended it slightly with the other colours on the lid.
