A Thousand Splendid Suns
#FictionFriday
BOOK REVIEW:
Today's fiction friday is going to be about this book that I have read three times. Although I know what happens each time I read it again, every time i seem to find something new and meaningful. I can't tell you how amazing this book really is.
A Thousand Splendid Suns by: Khaled Hosseini

The context of this book is set in Afghanistan during the time when the Taliban was at it's peak. This book has so many climaxes and makes you want to read more, even if you have reached the end.
This book really shows what some relationships in this world are like. You really can't trust anybody but family. And sometimes, you can't even trust family themselves. It shows us that there are obstacles in life that we have to climb over, no matter what they may be. It shows us how that in times of hardship and war, we have to remain ourselves and carry on living our lives as if nothing ever happened. In the end, we have to face what we are destined for, there's no way out of that.
I reeaaaaaalllyyyy recommend this book to anybody and its not for all ages sadly, but if you're thirteen and up, it's suitable.
Even if you dont like reading, I dare you to open up the first page and read the first sentence. You won't be able to put it down.
'One could not count the moons that shimmer on her roofs, or the thousand splendid suns that hide behind her walls'
