April Favourites!

Hey guys it’s Anika :) Today I'm going to be talking about my April favourites. #MakeupMondays

These are products I've been wearing pretty much everyday for the last month or so.

Borjouis Healthy Mix Serum Foundation

The first product is the Borjouis Healthy Mix Serum foundation. This is a beautiful lightweight foundation for those of you who don't want to wear anything heavy. It’s light coverage but it's great if you just want to even the skin tone out a bit. As it is quite lightweight, it doesn't look cakey on the face and applies very smoothly on the skin. It does say it lasts for 16 hours but I haven't had it on for that long so I wouldn't know, but it pretty much does last the whole day (about 8 hours).

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

This mascara has been my go to mascara for a while now. I absolutely love it. The packaging is beautiful and I love the wand on it. I like my lashes to be long, voluminous, thick and separated and you definitely get a lot of volume and separation, however it doesn't give much length, but I just pair it with a lengthening mascara and it looks amazing. The main reason I love this mascara so much is that it does not clump, you can apply as many coats as you want and it will still leave you with thick separated lashes.

Collection Contour Kit Highlight & Sculpt

This contour kit from Collection is great if you don't want to go overboard with your contouring. I used to use the Sleek contour kit on a day to day basis but then I discovered this and much prefer this for everyday use. It's not as pigmented as the Sleek one which is great because you get a subtle contour out of it. I have to be honest I don't like the highlight shade at all, as it's a little too light. But the contour shade is great and it's also very affordable.

theBalm - The Manizer Sisters

This little trio from the balm is just adorable. It contains Mary-Lou which is beautiful champagne highlight, Cindy-Lou a more of a pinky highlight and Betty-Lou and bronze highlight.

Mary-Lou is the only highlight I've been wearing since I bought this little trio. Its the perfect highlight, it's not too crazy but it gives a beautiful natural glow. Cindy-Lou is also a highlight shade but I use it more as a blush, when I don't want to go crazy with the blush. And lastly Betty-Lou, the bronze highlight, is more of a bronzer as it is very dark but I have to say it's the one I use the least. I don't really like using it as a bronzer because it's very shimmery but it works very well as a bronze eyeshadow for all over the lids.

Essence Lip Liner - 05 Soft Berry

These lipliners from Essence are so creamy and soft and so affordable. I think I bought this for about £2. This particular shade is Soft Berry which is a beautiful mauve shade and I've been wearing it a lot with my last favourite below.

Gosh Lipstick - 003 Antique

I've been searching for a perfect everyday nude lipstick for a very long time and I've finally found it. If you're asian then you know how hard it is to find the perfect nude, it can't be too pinky, or too nude or too mauve-y and this shade is the perfect combination of the three. This is a matte lipstick but it's not drying on the lips at all. It's like a 'your lips but better' shade and I absolutely love it.

So that is it for my April Favourites. I really hope you guys liked it.
Until next time, Ciao!

Anika x
